Transitional Housing
Sheila’s House provides safe, stable, and supportive transitional housing for women who are working to rebuild their lives after experiencing difficult circumstances. Our goal is to offer a peaceful and structured environment where residents can focus on healing, growth, and preparing for independent living.
Life Skills Support
We help women develop important life skills that promote stability and independence. This includes guidance with daily routines, communication skills, personal responsibility, time management, healthy habits, and goal setting to help residents successfully transition back into the community.
Job Training
Sheila’s House encourages women to work toward financial independence through employment readiness and job training support. We assist residents with resume preparation, interview readiness, workplace expectations, and developing the confidence needed to secure and maintain employment opportunities.
Homelessness Support
We understand that homelessness can happen to anyone facing hardship or unexpected life challenges. Sheila’s House exists to provide women experiencing homelessness or unstable living situations with a safe place to stay while they work toward stability, security, and self-sufficiency.
Alcohol & Drug Abuse Recovery Support
Sheila’s House is committed to maintaining a safe and drug-free environment that supports healthy lifestyles and positive choices. We encourage accountability, recovery-focused living, and emotional support while helping residents connect with appropriate community resources and support systems when needed.
Community Reintegration
Our mission is to help women successfully transition back into society with confidence and dignity. We support residents as they work toward rebuilding their lives, strengthening healthy routines, gaining employment, restoring independence, and becoming productive members of the community once again.
